Sejarah Organisasi

KOMAP merupakan singkatan dari Korps Mahasiswa Ilmu Pemerintahan yang berlokasi di jalan timoho 317. KOMAP merupakan organisasi yang menghimpun seluruh Mahasiswa Ilmu Pemerintahan yang ada di Sekolah Tinggi Pembangunan Masyarakat Desa “APMD” Yogyakarta. KOMAP berdiri pada 24 April 1987, pada waktu itu namanya masih Himpunan Mahasiswa Ilmu Pemerintahan. Kemudian pada tahun 2010 dilaksanakan Musyawarah Besar atas desakan dari Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa yang kemudian namanya berganti Korps Mahasiswa Ilmu Pemerintahan (KOMAP).

Korps Mahasiswa Ilmu Pemerintahan sudah banyak mengalami pasang surut dalam beberapa waktu tetapi kepengurusan periode 2019/2020 mulai menyusun, menata serta meletakkan landasan yang kuat dan arah kerja dari organisasi KOMAP itu sendiri. KOMAP mempunyai tiga pekerjaan antara lain, pertama Kerja pengetahuan, kedua Kerja Advokasi, ketiga Kerja Politik yang semuanya ini dijalankan oleh setiap bidang-bidang yang ada dalam KOMAP itu sendiri.
